EYEYE Materials, Quality & Manufacturer Standards

Understand EYEYE pen materials, everyday care and the difference between manufacturer management standards and product-specific claims.

Match the construction to the job.

EYEYE fountain pens use fine stainless steel nibs and arrive prefilled. Rollerballs put liquid ink through a ball point, while G-103 gel pens combine a retractable point with a soft grip. Micro fineliners offer a narrow drawing point for fine outlines and small marks.

These details guide selection. They do not make every pen behave the same on every paper. Smooth coated sheets, absorbent notebooks and drawing papers can change drying, line edges and show-through.

Manufacturer standards and certification.

Snowhite, the manufacturer behind EYEYE, describes ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management among its company standards. These concern management systems; they should not be read as a separate safety, waterproofing or archival certificate for every pen.

For the manufacturer's own information, visit Snowhite's company profile. Product-specific suitability depends on the selected model and its instructions.

A practical quality check at your desk.

  1. Confirm the ink color, point and pack before opening.
  2. Check that the cap closes or the retractable tip moves normally.
  3. Remove any protective wax from a new gel tip.
  4. Write lightly on spare paper and allow the ink to dry.
  5. Check the reverse, then test any highlighter, eraser or wash you plan to add.

Care for the point.

Recap capped pens after use, retract gel points before carrying, and keep your supplies away from heat. Do not force a dry or damaged point through the paper. The selected disposable fountain pens are not intended for refilling.
